Long before the COVID-19 crisis, St. Clare College has its own preparations for ICT CAPABILITY & DEVELOPMENT. This preparation is embodied in its DEVELOPMENT PLANS for 2019-2025 which states that  "the entire St. Clare College Campus must be converted into a WIRED COLLEGE" (thanks to Dr. Samuel Salvador) that will be equipped with the latest and advanced internet technology to ensure that it meets the 3 I's of ONLINE EDUCATION- INFRASTRUCTURE, INFOSTRUCTURE, AND INFOCULTURE. St Clare’s preparation for digital learning (thru the efforts of its FOUNDER DR. CLARITA G. ADALEM AND THE LATE CHAIRMAN DR. ERNESTO M. ADALEM) throws back in the early ’80s when it started basic computer literacy as a subject in the pre-school and elementary levels. In 2013, it adopted e-learning modalities by shifting to E-BOOKS making it the 3rd school in the country to use TABLETS in lieu of physical textbooks. In 2016, St. Clare College is the first College in the country to use E-BOARDS in all 95 classrooms removing all blackboards and eliminating chalk dust. In that same year, TAIWAN’S ICT DIVISION visited St Clare College to help strengthen its ICT CAPABILITY. St. Clare College’s computer laboratory is likewise equipped with the latest state-of-the-art computers with stacked servers to make sure that ICT systems are aligned with international standards. All classrooms are also equipped with the latest computers capable of connecting to the worldwide web (internet) and to all classrooms and devices. In 2019, St. Clare College launched its preparations for EDUCATION 4.0.Pushing the envelope, St. Clare College has again invested heavily on its ICT CAPABILITY by collaborating with OPTIMUS IT SOLUTIONS, ACER & BICORE ONE  - the provider of FNET which is one of the most advanced ICT PLATFORM and providing fast and accurate connectivity.  With a long history of technology-based education and preparations, the St. Clare College is positioned as one of the leading schools in providing world-class  Online Education Systems and ready to embrace the new normal in education.With these investments and preparations, St. Clare College is committed to continuously provide QUALITY, AFFORDABLE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION with or without the COVID 19 PANDEMIC.
